i am saying this with pride as being my first critique on an artifact, so please be patient with my ^-^ the designs on and around the watch face are absolutely splendid. the care put into each wing must have taken so very long, what with the individual designs on the feathers. i will say, though, that the watch face is kind of bland, mostly because when we hear the word "steampunk" i think gears and cogs. if we could make a face that would let us see some clockwork that would be beautiful. the silversmithing is great in my opinion, along with the colour of the blue stonework. another one would be to try to make one with more copper or bronze finish.

I've always adored silversmithing. This is a beautifully designed piece. I'd wear it, even if I couldn't correct the watch.

I love the addition of wings on top and the different touches of feathers all over the work. The blue bead work is a great touch. If I had any criticism it would be keeping the tarnish off. *g* One would have to be very careful cleaning in the grooves.

If you make another like this, I would love to see the clockwork instead of the plain face, however this face works with the silver design and I don't see a problem with it. Just thinking up designs as I look at it, though I'd never be able to do such fine craftwork as this. My area is more with a mouse and paintbrush. *gg*
