Description

My flyer for this holiday season, distributed by x-tra-x.de and Dances of Vice NY. I'm not much of a graphics designer but I can handle photoshop ok. Overall I'm very happy with the result :)

I have been following your work for some time now. Your talent is absolutely amazing...each one of your pieces evokes different emotions and thoughts in me. I love when you post new pics of your work, as the amount of time, thought and effort that must go into the models, themes, jewelery pieces, etc. must be extensive. This flyer is a perfect example of that. It keeps the holiday theme quite nicely but doesn't follow the traditional and overworked themes we all see every year around this time. She is very Elizabethan/Gothic looking, the jewelery pieces chosen are perfect for that look and are set to stand out completely away from all else.

Initially I took a glance at the entire flyer, and was instantly drawn to the model's face, as with all your photos, as the models are always impeccably done and their make-up is always such to cause an instant reaction. Then I am drawn to the jewelery piece(s).. I actually hunt the photo to see which individual pieces are used in the picture. The stage is always beautifully set to showcase each piece chosen.

About the only negative thing I can come up with for the flyer is the use of the fake bird in the cage...I think a live one would have made more of an impression overall, and would have completed the flyer better. The one chosen fits the theme, I love the red, but with all the exotic birds out there, a live one may have made more of an impact. I understand as well that working with anything alive that's not human is less than easy as well.

Overall, beautiful. I am never let down by your work, workmanship, or the ways you choose to photograph it.
